I love "The ArchAndroid" like crazy—surely one of the best albums of the decade. And she blew me away live back in '10 (at Terminal 5 in NY, opening for of Montreal). One of the best shows I've ever seen.

Honestly, I've never read the books or seen the TV show. But for some reason, I started reading the user reviews of the final novel on Amazon. A lot of readers hate that book, "Dead Ever After," with a passion. Hate, hate, hate. More one-star reviews than any other rating.

Wrong.

When this came out, I thought "Westworld" was the best movie ever made.

But I bet you're fine when the labels are reversed, aren't you? Hypocrite!

Look on IMDb—you'd be surprised how much he's been in lately, including "Blue Jasmine" and "Oldboy."

A talking dog?!? Don't tell David DeCoteau!

k.d. lang's end credits song for "Tomorrow Never Dies" is great. I think it was supposed to to be the opening theme (it contains the phrase "tomorrow never dies," but is called "Surrender"), but got bumped by Sheryl Crow's lousy song.

Thanks, @waxlion:disqus !

Not released (yet, anyway.) For that matter, she said when "ArchAndroid" came out that a) there'd be a video for every song, which would fit together as a movie, and b) there was a tie-in graphic novel, already completed, that would be released. Neither happened.

Why, you might even call her an electric lady.

I loved, loved, loved the second single, "Dance Apocalyptic," but it went nowhere. It's a good thing I'm not programming a radio station, 'cause obviously I'm not in touch with what listeners want to hear. If I could decree such things, that would have been a contender for Song of the Summer.

I was thinking Unitarian.

“Left a number two in his desk drawer. And I’m not talking about the pencil.”

IMDb listings say the character is named Mohammed, is a member of the Taliban, and is from Afghanistan.

Did that video really need a minute and quarter of setup before the song kicked in? After a minute, I thought they posted the wrong video.

The way I understand it, Twilight Time strikes deals only for (very) limited editions. They can't press more.

If "Seconds" doesn't deserve a solid A, I don't know what does. It's stunning.

Based on the gay-themed films on Netflix streaming, 95% are about a young gay man in love with his straight friend.

So… what's the twist?
