I agree that the editing on this show is generally top notch … so why are they giving so much time to the Coco-Alyssa spat when it's so boring?

Good lord, I forgot! As Briers's friend/rival.

Started watching "Monarch of the Glen" on Netflix a couple of years ago, mostly because of its Scottish setting. I wouldn't call Briers's role small—he's one of the major characters. He plays the head of a Highland estate who's wasted a ton of money. He calls his son back from London to get the estate's finances in

Sure. Tell me this after I get tickets.

Thanks, beema.

Can one jump in with a new episode at this point? Or should I try to find some earlier eps first?

I mostly love the show, and appreciate the nonstereotypical Max, but that storyline from a couple of weeks ago where Max and Brad go to a wedding expo was filled with cringe-inducing stereotypes. It seemed to come from an alternate universe where "Happy Endings" is terrible.

I love "Five O'Clock World"!

Lyrics for theme song on "Mary Tyler Moore" changed from "You might just make it after all" in the first season to "You're gonna make it after all" thereafter.

Yes, Flop House is much, much better than HDTGM. I still listen to the latter every now and again, but I find myself stopping and deleting midway through. Flop House is funny enough that I relisten to old episodes when I've run out of new ones.

Can anyone explain why the "Pitch Perfect" soundtrack is so high on the list?

I was underwhelmed when the show first aired—the first few episodes didn't grab me. But when everyone kept talking about it, I tried again later in the season—specifically, "Black Tie," the one with Paul Reubens as an in-bred prince—and I was completely won over. That's still one of my favorite episodes. I love the
