I'm more of a 'quick fix while girlfriend is in getting ready for work' type. Your plan (and boldness where lesser mortals only encounter shame) intrigues me though; I shall give it a shot.

Oceanography…
…was the funniest part of AD, and this review. I really, really hope that oceanography message boards is a thing.

He's an incredibly flawed character, with an arc that gives him a shot at redemption. No one likes admitting they consume porn (daily), and between that scene, and him stealing a wad of his mom's hidden cash, he's painted as a pretty deplorable soul. I for one liked that they made his as 'human' as they did. Ditto

*pinot noir

Giamatti's soliloquy about pinto noir is pretty fucking bad-ass. Made me want to head straight out and buy the second-least expensive bottle I could find.

I'd like to see a 'Better Late Than Never' for Annie Hall. Mostly 'cuz I haven't seen it, and feel ashamed.

I'd go see a re-animated Rob Zombie show in a heartbeat, provided Pavement opened.

Full agreement. Only got into their greatness post-mortum, but wow do they ever seem like they would be killer live.

Long-time GBV fan that never got the pleasure. Sign me up.

Pixies, '04-ish. Yeah it was a big cash-grab (I bought a $50 ticket and a $30 double CD of the show I just watched), but for a fan who missed them first time 'round, it was great. Kim Deal's Gigantic gave me some serious chills, and Black Francis brought the screams. Although why they played Wave of Mutilation

And thanks for the E6 show re-cap, TTT. I imagine I'd feel similar in the presence of the Mangum.

Agreed on the perfect-ness of Aeroplane, but would still kill to both see NMH live and get another record from them. Yes it would inevitably be a bit of a disappointment, but count me among those that would prefer to have it than not. Bound to be at least 75% awesome.

Listen to Noel…Slingbox!

cbgb - i'm pretty sure Michael Ian Black was asked about the DVD progress in his AVC interview from a few years back. he basically said the hard work was done, but the problem was, and always had been getting clearance for all the music they used. did i mention…

(mighta been funnier here…)

I'm seein' double…four AncientChineseSecrets!

huge Wain/State fan (and also the Wayne State basketball team) but haven't seen any of Wainy Days. I wish I was unemployed so I could better waste my time.

Hullabalooza! "Making teenagers depressed is like shooting fish in a barrel"

I agree on the inherant evil-ity of Goldman Sachs, but what are they doing involved in any new business? Weren't they one of the 3,137 financial institutions to tank late last year?
