being white is ALWAYS an insulator.  but yeah, the joke is probably a bit long in the tooth.  but hey, if you're interested in seeing two and half hours of some bougie privileged Californians deal with the malaise of a beautiful family and amazing life, go right ahead.  I'm sure it's very enjoyable and relatable.

playing the real-life phone call of a 9/11 victim during a fictional movie (no matter how "based on true events" it may be) leaves a sour taste in my mouth.  i haven't seen this movie, but i dont think i want to.
