Cena and Owens' exchange about languages is straight out of Hulk Hogan's No Holds Barred, written by Vince McMahon, in which a meathead Mary Sue wins everything. The whole Owens/Cena feud feels like it's following plot points of the Z grade movie.

And the longer you wait, the better the library will be (speaking from someone who got it at launch), and the less you'll have to deal with game droughts.
Yeah yeah, like they didn't rebrand him as Puupuu or something.
This could easily have ended the series. I think it's amazing in the weeks leading up they announced it was a Jack episode, after the last one it had such a negative reaction, but it was a brilliant move as it made the flash forward twist that much more impactful for me. (I have a lot more to say about this episode…
Man it's surreal to see Samoa Joe actually BE Samoa Joe in WWE. Also..ehhhh at the new Bull storyline…not sure..
Oh man, I was shaking when "My name's Sawyer too." happened. After all the build I never expected him to just rip the letter up.
Oh yeah, one of the cut lines was an extra on the wonderful conenctions feature on the Season 2 DVD, it was one of the hidden ones. BUT THEY NEVER EXPLAINED WHO THE STATIC GUY FLIPPING THE SWITCH WAS. He connected to Jack, Claire, and Christian, so maybe he just represented their family bond. But MAN I spent so long…
Got chills thinking of Giacchino's score there.
Some of the greatest television catharsis after 3 (4?) years of the others'"I know more than you do" villainy.
I was scrolling through looking for this. I'd love for him to be Roland, he probably would have been a lock too if Lindelof and Abrams stayed attached to the project. Holloway makes way more sense than the other names I've seen thrown around by news articles.
I agree. It's a mirror of Season 2, which is the first season I watched so it was kinda weirdly nostalgic while it was airing. Best finale of the series too.
I have a lot of thoughts for Through the Looking Glass but not as much about the others this season sadly. I really think I could contribute a lot to 4-6 discussion though.
Please please NXT put the women's match last next time. Lynch/Banks really should have main evented this one, I would have put Owens/Zayn as the opener or second to last given the non finish.
Actually I think people on there were saying that was one of the best of the series when it came out somehow.
Come on, Gazorpazorpfield, go easy on me, huh?
I was thinking the same thing. He seems almost proud of this. Going off some of his other comments it seems like his goal for the show is mainly a higher episode and season count. Although maybe he's just relieved to be done working with Shearer.
He'll find out he killed Jon's girl, but since she killed his parents or helped kill them he'll get revenge and nod some more.
It'd be great if they still talk about the dark vs. light themes in season 2 but it quickly becomes clear that the "dark" is just Vince Vaughn's character, ripped straight from one of his romantic comedies, but with ominous music during his scenes and the other characters near him are frightened and uncomfortable.
I loved Reboot as a kid, did they ever finish the original story? I remember it ending in a huge cliffhanger.
"Left Behind" was about the point I got tired of Kate episodes.
