Personally I think it has to do with the excessive hype the show received on some sites from the get-go despite the show really not having been on that long. My feelings towards the show are profoundly "meh" but it did bother me that people seemed to be falling all over themselves to like it.

Again, I could rattle off some movies that I love that people think are the cinematic equivalent of cancer. Same with music. Metallica is the world's saddest joke, but I never said "Man, you just hate them because…"

Do you write any fiction? Oh, first — I definitely believe this story as non-fiction :) However, I could read more and more and more of these types of stories.
