Thanks
I just want to say thanks for doing this as I am at work and I'll be missing all of the red carpet stuff and the first few minutes of the show. This way I can watch vicariously through you guys.

urtext - Yeah, Eliza Dushku runs like a girl. It was a bit distracting. On the plus side, she looks really fuckin' hot in her sparkly outfit for next weeks episode.
Pop Star?
Okay, so, unlike most people here I actually liked last week a bit more than this week. I still enjoyed this week, but the scenes of them hunting each other in the woods just didn't feel that tightly constructed, and they need more atmospheric lighting in the dollhouse. It's too bright in there.
Year of the Dragon
I won't argue with you about whether "Year of the Dragon" is a bad movie or not. It is bad. But I think you kind of give it short shrift. It is a spectacular, bloody, train wreck of a movie and the kind of ultra-violent, pulpy mess that seemingly only Mickey Rourke can star in. If you're a fan…
"There's a trick… doing the… jerk, separating… grotesque… pie, it's hard… at all times for… their underwear, 'roided up dads… splash… a bikini party, sweating… guys… scheme to get… head, girls… are… recycled… ,too."
That doesn't rhyme.
John Carter of Mars
Apparently an animated version of "John Carter of Mars" is going to be realized in a few years (not Bob Clampett, though). IMDB says that Andrew Stanton is working on a version that will be half animation and half live action. I haven't gotten to "WALL-E" on netflix yet, but if it's as good as…

From Ben : "Sooner or later we're all convinced, Jack."
Not only did they pick one viewpoint character, but everything was told in one, unbroken flashback. I think that's the first time they've done that on the show.
But it was emotionally meaningful. I mean, I thought it was a little heartbreaking as Jack was telling that story.
I think it's been pretty clear from the first season that none of these people are actually ordinary beneath the surface. They all have extraordinary or bizarre backstories and are often connected to each other from before they were on the plane. Furthermore, seeing Mrs. Hawking talk about arranging people on a…
Yummsh - if you're talking about the guy who gave Jack condolences at the ticket counter his name is Said Taghmaoui. He was in "Three Kings" and "Vantage Point" among other things and he is a fantastic actor. At least based on his work in "Three Kings".
Now realign my Corvette.
I think a "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" thread has popped up before in one of Nathan's comment boards, but it's worth repeating. I agree completely with Sky Captain's awesomeness and think it might even be up Nathan's alley. I mean, it's not a million miles removed from "The Rocketeer".
Regardless of whether you like musicals, "Romance and Cigarettes" is a strangely joyless enterprise. I watched it expecting gloriously goofy theatrics, but instead it was just awkward and forced and exhausting.
Just tuck 'em between your legs. Of course you still have to wax, but it looks hot so it's totally worth it.
Also, her sanity. Have you seen it recently? Not good.
So, how long before girls poop in a cup and Chang eats it?
Synergy
So "Supernanny" beat out "Dollhouse", huh? I think I have a solution that would bring together audiences for both shows. Have Jo Frost guest star on "Dollhouse"! She could be a naked robot taking a shower, too! C'mon, it would be great! Come on!!!
I think we're all missing the bigger picture here, which is : both of those kids are clearly ghost riding the whip, which is quite dangerous. That thing's gonna flip over and send their hos flyin'.
