When do you know a film's bad? When you have to turn outside the usual stable of critics and go for Josh Modell. Not dinging the quality of the review, just the fact that even Nabin didn't want to review this.

This week didn't have too much going on in the personal sphere. There was a decent amount of pop culture stuff, so let's just jump into that.

It's very interesting to see a limited release film have it's opening in neither NY or LA but rather in Miami. Too bad, because this sounds good and now that I'm reminded that the actor was in The Secret In Their Eyes, that makes it even more exciting.

@avclub-0f0d67e214f9fef69b278e3d08114da9:disqus The end sequence for The Godfather is pretty damn good. But yes, the one you're referring to is definitely an all time classic. Just the slowly building dread that happens right before.

I feel like the MPAA should now just describe the context for all forms of nudity that will occur in a film. The more specific, the better!

Oh yeah. Next year, he's going to be one of the leads in Guardians Of The Galaxy. Really hoping that film's both good and successful, because I'd like him to be a breakout star after Parks comes to an end.

At least that was trying, as inept as it was. This almost looks like they're just filming a mule eating or randomly moving it's mouth while an awkwardly voiced Ice-T is foleyed in from above.

I didn't think it was neccessary, given that it was spoiled already in the article. But I put one up anyway.

I knew that would be an unpopular opinon. I will admit that it might take a few more listens for me to get into it. Hip-hop, more than any other genre of music, take me awhile to fully get into. I gravitate more to the music than the lyrics when I listen to music, which is probably not a great thing to do with

SPOILERS FOR WALKING DEAD THAT WAS DISCUSSED IN ARTICLE

This was an okay week. Nothing too exciting, aside from a brief scare late last night as the hard drive to my laptop was not being detected due to my dad knocking it on to the floor accidentally while I was out. But it got fixed today and it's working fine. On to pop culture stuff!

Could be worse. He could have been forced to see InAPPropriate Comedy (their spelling). Not even linking to the trailer. It looks like one of the most pathetic movies of the year and I don't blame the A.V. Club if they skip reviewing it.

Not only does this count as my best festival experience, but also my best concert experience ever.

Brains are actually a bit more slippery than you'd imagine. If I wasn't careful, there would've been a good chance I'd have to look for a brain marked Abby Normal to replace it.

Should've had ICP give their endorsements. After all, it's a well known fact that rappers in clown uniforms are most beloved by Catholics immediately after the Pope.

Honestly, even with the Dawes magic around, I'm still more envious of you having seen Japandroids. I still listen to Celebration Rock pretty consistently and from that album alone, it seems like they would be tremendous amounts of fun to see live and rocking the fuck out of the place.

To be pedantic, April and Andy did have a bit of a will they-wont' they type of drama at the beginning of season 3 with April mad at Andy for kissing Ann. True, it wasn't long and drawn out, but there was still a tiny bit of time where their future was in doubt.

I think it can go one more season. It so far hasn't gotten to the point where I don't laugh out loud multiple times an episode. I feel it has turned into more of a hang out show for me, where I love the characters so much that I don't often pay as much attention to the plots and whether or not the challenges are too
