I'm definitely willing to go through them again, to see if I'm missing something, but the Frank Ocean album just gripped me all the way through.

Even though I haven't listened to it that much, I'd say Frank Ocean's album is a good choice for number one. I haven't heard a huge amount of 2012 releases, but the Screaming Females album and Japandroids album just kick my ass from here to Sunday. Great, great albums.
