@avclub-eac75edc18b8546c46893fe4b75ab995:disqus But if we cancel SVU, how are we going to ensure that every theater actor in NY gets their Law & Order credit? It's not like they can move to Chicago and be on Chicago Fire, especially if that ends up getting canceled.

Where's that still even coming from? There wasn't any Bob Costas in this episode.

I came here hoping for some good Noel quotes. I did not leave disappointed.

Plus, there was the description of being neither of the living nor the dead.

@avclub-14072b2ff783182847122db384e8863f:disqus We're seeing The Whale at Playwrights Horizons. It's the story of a morbidly obese man trying to eat himself to death and the relationship he has with his teenage daughter.

That might be more unexpected, because while romance has been a part of the three Vonnegut novels I've read (Slaughterhouse-Five,

Didn't mention it above, since it's been on and off, but I'm making my way through Vonnegut's posthumous short story collection, Look At The Birdie. I like his novels a bit more, but there are some fine stories in them. A few of them also end in atypically happy endings, which is unusual for Vonnegut.

Not nearly as exciting a week as I've had before, especially since I still haven't found out the status of one of the jobs I interviewed for. I didn't get the Meetup one, so it's all riding a bit on the other one, which is fine as I did really like that a lot. Definitely appreciate any good vibes being sent.
