For anyone in the NYC area, the Film Forum is going to be showing the original for one week. I haven't seen it myself yet, but I did see Robocop for the first time earlier this year and if the original is the same level of quality as that, it will be an amazing experience.

But if you just legitimately hate the aesthetic of a particular director based off of prior experience? Like, I don't think many people here would be aggravated to say they're not likely to see a film directed by Michael Bay or Tony Scott because films by those directors are often shot in a super hyper kinetic way…
