Dwight torturing Jim for all of S8 leading to Jim's attempt to escape this year would have made a lot more sense than what they gave us.

Yeah, the forced separation in S3 felt more like writer manipulation that the realistic story they had told through S2.
I think S3 is a slight step down from S2, but I was annoyed with the Karen-Pam-Jim story in that, much like this season, it was dragged out far too long just to get it to the finale. In both cases it seemed like a simple 10 minute conversation would have cleared things up and yet they managed to avoid that simple…
Season 6 was nearly as bad as Season 8.
"Anyway, I suspect that's what will have happened "6 months later." "
Your self-regard is duly noted.
I'm sure your support over the internet is a great comfort to them.
Brian proved to be unnecessary and inconsequential to the Jim/Pam story in the end. I have a feeling there was more to that story, but they realized they didn't have enough time to finish and so into the dustbin he went.
I'd say in the end, it was pretty much of a bust. An episode where everyone in the office "suddenly" discovers that the crew caught things they weren't aware of (how they couldn't know is a mystery) and then them cutting a Jim/Pam YouTube video for Jim to demonstrate his endless love looks like failure to me. Brian…
And now, 3 months later, we have learned that Brian, and the doc crew in general, had absolutely no effect on either the Jim/Pam arc or the rest of the show. The finale had the panel discussion that they used as fan service, especially for Pam, but all in all it was basically a complete waste.
Does your mom abuse you regularly?
3rd grade?
So repeating 5th grade then?
Of course I don't waste my time going onto your Two and a Half Men boards and telling you you're a moron for enjoying it. That you need to spend time here trying to demonstrate your superior critical skills mainly makes you look like a child.
Sure you can make assumptions, but what you can't do is ignore the explicitly stated details that Athlead was a success or that Pam told Jim the reason she opposed the move was her insecurities.
I still want to know how a character who had at most a single line of dialog per episode was taking time away from any other character or wearing out his welcome. People enjoyed his random comments, but there were no story arcs or even C-stories devoted to Creed. He was a bit player who added a bit of fun.
The constant references by Greg Daniels that we were going to see the doc crew in the end amounted to meeting Brian (erp) and them making Jim a Jim/Pam youtube clip. Not too satisfying.
The PBS documentary was probably much shorter than the show. During "Promo" they said it would be shown over nine days which would be much shorter than what we saw.
Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to comment on a show you didn't like.
Season 6 was terrible, almost as bad as 8.
