Yeah, how is Packer not beaten to death the minute he walks into the office after the way he treated those people? He had cover as a top salesman/friend of Michael's, but that was lost two years ago. I'm surprised they don't have a special drawer of rotten eggs and spoiled lettuce to throw at him. The minute he

I tend to think Parks and Rec has survived because they just don't have anything else, not because NBC recognized its quality.

I hate that kid.

Seriously and yet the reviewer gave it a B! I think he ate one of Packer's cupcakes. Not picking up The Farm was the one right decision NBC has made in 5 years. Paul Lieberstein is the devil.

The creators of Parks and Rec have explicitly stated that there is no documentary crew following the characters around. They just used the format for character development and have decreased its use as the years have gone along.

Moving a young family two hours away for a much better job isn't so traumatic that it can never be done. And staying behind in a dead end job so your wife can paint a mural isn't necessarily a smart move. The idea that Jim gives everything up because Pam doesn't like change is depressing.

I have my doubts they can pull that off in eight episodes.

So Toby is both the Strangler and managed to get himself assigned to jury duty on the falsely accused guy? Yeah, I find that a bit hard to believe.

They tracked from Oscar hanging in the doorway to his computer as the very last shot. The pop-up was in the corner of the monitor.

Why is the darkest outcome the most realistic? How does their divorce over a fairly typical life disagreement make the story more true to life? You do know that lots of people manage to negotiate these sorts of things without the need to split up right? Have you never seen a story where characters overcome trials and

I think it just shows how poor a job Paul Lieberstein did as showrunner. Their "romance" was dull and misguided from the start, mainly because Helms and Kemper have zero chemistry, but they kept going back to it like they were the new Jim and Pam.

Not sure what they are going to do with Dwight now that The Farm wasn't picked up. He may end up manager if Andy keeps on his present course.

The thing is, the Dwight/Angela stuff wasn't from the backdoor pilot, which is coming in a few weeks. This feels like set up material to introduce some of the characters that they padded with a bit more Angela. It made me glad that they didn't pick up the series because that farm stuff was fucking horrible.

This has been my experience as well. Beyond an occasional Friday happy hour or company picnic, most folks I've worked with have been perfectly happy to not see their coworkers outside of office hours and that goes double for hooking up. The relentless focus on love triangles has been one of my major complaints over

I agree that Jim has been a bit clueless in his attempt to escape Dunder Mifflin, but I think the show has failed to show how they have been negotiating the changes. I thought this episode did a nice job of showing how both of them are sort of taking the other's feelings for granted. Still not sure why none of this is

Somebody needs to bottle and market whatever intelligence enhancing med Erin is taking because it seems really effective. Of course I'm sure I'm watching some sort of "Flowers for Algernon" sequel where the finale has her eating paste while Plop puts the moves on her.

The first two plotlines I blame on Paul Lieberstein, especially the elevation of a Toby story. Brian is all on Greg Daniels.

I have to say that I don't find the prospect of them divorcing over the move to Philly to be the most realistic conclusion to their story. Lots of folks figure these sorts of things out without divorce. I've done it three different times myself without ending up single.

The idea that Toby was both the strangler and served on the jury that convicted the wrong man who then strangled him is just way too much of a stretch. I hope last night was the last we heard of the strangler.

They've never been around or mentioned much, which is understandable since we never see their home life.
