Interesting to hear they shuffled the episode order…I almost never LOL when I'm watching TV but I actually had to pause it a few times during the season premiere, while the last two have been vaguely funny, I guess.

Also the late-80s Akai samplers that generated so much of this music had that inimitable not-quite-CD quality sample rate.
I used to think that amazing, classic, gritty sound was due to deprecation of the physical analog sources, but I realized later it was actually digital distortion (!).
