On Heroes, Sylar was clearly the problem character, not Hiro. If they had had the balls to kill him at the end of season 1, the show might have survived. But no, he had to keep surviving everything, no matter hour little sense it made. It's the worst part of comic book culture, the constant return of seemingly dead

That is definitely true. the problem is, a lot of people cut off the song before it gets to the very end. She sings her name 4 times right before the fadeout on the original unedited version. You can still hear it on the video posted here, right when it fades out.

I was greatly amused by Vic's JBF look throughout the first part of the episode…the misbuttoned shirt, the hair, and the obvious in your face not giving a shit if it's obvious to anyone what was interrupted.

Let me re-phrase: I have no problem PLOTWISE with it. Clearly Ouellette shouldn't be letting him do it on a professional level, but we already saw last season the father figure thing happening between the two.

I have no problem with Shane being that involved with the arrest. It was his relationship with Ouellette that made it possible. If it wasn't for Ouellette trying to be a father figure to him, he would not have been allowed to have that involvement.

I'm throwing my vote that way too. That was definitely Steve Martin screaming, so process of elimination says that was Nealon singing.

Zach, Removal of NA children from homes has a long disgusting tragic history. It was government policy for decades, up until the 1970's to coerce and bamboozle NA parents into allowing Indian Boarding schools to take their children and "Americanize" them. The use of NA's as victims is not "fun" but it is "true".

Congratulations, AI on your worst winner ever this year, Philip Philips! Even Taylor Hicks was better.

I did check today, and it seems to be exactly what I am describing.

How come no one is talking about how badly PP ruined "The Letter"? He took every bit of the emotion and desperation out of it and turned it into a boring MOR ballad.

Why would anyone pay attention to Comics Curmudgeon? Last I checked it was just a mix of shooting fish in a barrel (Mary Worth and other legacy strips) and making fun of any number of modern strips that are more interesting than anything that is ever said on Comics Curmudgeon.

God, I hope to hell you're right. PP would be the worst winner ever, worse than Taylor Hicks, but he seems to get all the little girls (and the judges) wet. And it seems to be the tweeny girls and country people that decide the winner nowadays, so here's hoping Skylar can pull it out. I mean, sooner or later, they

Seems pretty clear that the kids don't like old lady Elise. That was some mean-spirited mean girl shit.
