I really can't say enough good things about Helheim. It's not clear if it's an ongoing as such. Bunn has said he planned it as a six-parter and may continue if there's enough interest

man I bought that Eszterhas book ages ago. I should read it.
I really liked Siddharta
I listened to an interview with Simon Rich and he sounded like a small child. I just looked him up and sure enough…he was born in 1980 fucking four. Is it just me or does it seem weird to be giving a title like "American Humorist" to someone in his twenties?
I'm nearly done Fall of Giants . While overall I like it, I can't WAIT to be done with it. Looking forward to some shorter reads after this week, like the Sean Howe Marvel book and JH Moehringer's The Tender Bar . Yay non-fiction!
I'm feeling the same about Batman. The end of Death of the Family was alright, but i'm ready to take a break - same goes for Batgirl.
At the same time, I recently illegally obtained a copy of the latest Batman and Robin and hot damn if it didn't want make me want to pick up the first trade (which I will)
and dude, if…
JLA #1 was great! I love how each member is in it for their own reasons and once they achieve their goal, I'm guessing they'll move on
I love Snow White! Everyone should read it!
The one track I go to on Killing me Softly is "No Tears." Fuck I love that song.
I hope they play I Missed the Bus.
something about that song…it's like they really got it , ya know?
I sincerely miss Wizard magazine. I'm still trying to get my hands on some back issues.
Now go out there and win me that festival!
We know this is fake, right? This video had me until the line about the name of her band changing all the time "because that's the indie thing to do." Then I just felt a wave of relief.

I would say get all of the Criminal books. I think there's 6 of them now. Brubaker and Phillips work off each other extremely well and each story is (very) loosely connected . I lend these books out all the time
Two things:
Is Oh the Glory of It All actually a good book? Because I had to put it down and shoot it after a hundred pages or so
Also, is there ever going to be an AV book club or will it continue to just appear organically in the comments section?

"reading Marvel and Batman" is a good way of putting it.
everyone is different but for me I've just always been drawn to Marvel over DC and it has nothing do with the Avengers or X-Men.
I can appreciate DC's vibrant history but Marvel always seemed more colourful. Having said that, I'm hoping for good thing from Green…

She's not the first person to be fired so impersonally, not even the first comicbook writer, she just happened to mention it on twitter and the world is UP IN ARMS. How do we know Marvel has never done this? Image? Dark Horse? I don't condone it and I hope Simone is better off where she ends up but you're better off…
