Even though it’s very late in the game (Good Grief! – 3 days) please let us still have an official Review so that we know that the Episode actually existed and is not just a product of our many fevered imaginations.

Irish, I was also thinking of a combo name and like both "MacRoot (Rootchine?)" - well done!

Sorry Betty but the multiple spin-offs is such a parasite idea - surely by now we've got sick of the multiple Law & Orders, the CSIs, the NCISs, the Chicagos etc., etc., as they just show lack of imagination and dilute whatever merits the original had.
Concerning the second part of your Comment: whatever is necessary

OK we've held our collective breath for way, way too long -

Dear Alexa, there's a possibility that there's more in your life than POI, but there are priorities. As I'm sure you are aware, you have responsibilities and you're way, way overdue.

Not quite sure it's true but like the touching comment virgo, particularly the pulling off road part.

Suppose we should appreciate the respect and that CBS hasn't made it into a franchise - eg POI-NY, POI - LA etc.,etc.

Yep, you may have a point and surely it would be as Root, so we may yet see her still fighting alongside.

The way she is able to make her eyes GLOW, the swagger, the banter and of course, that incredibly aesthetic nose.
RIP Root - but you will continue as The Machine's voice as she wreaks terrible vengeance.

"We see her crossing borders in Mexico"
Possibly part of a future Trump tweet? Gaaaaaaawd!!! ………………..Are we building towards a finale where Trump is the political face of Samaritan? - now it all makes sense.

Brad, I mention the "intelligence of the backstory" above (or below dependent upon how viewed) but also realize that a good portion of male viewers are smitten with Lucy. So many different roles over the years from Ally McBeal (sp?), Charlie's Angels to Kill Bill.
This one as Joan particularly suits her.

Not meaning to lower the tone of the usual civilized and decent comments, but great thighs.

The procedurals carry the weekly episodes but feel that the intelligence of the backstory helps retain our ongoing interest in the series. Yes traits and addictions (and diseases) are often genetic and can be traced to our individual DNA.
Concerning the Episode: Joan's "That wasn't very nice" when the elderly Chinese

Maybe I'm idealizing here, but Sherlock initially, particularly appreciated Fiona's objectivity and was also touched by her vulnerability……………………and then was touched (?) by the kiss question.

Continues to be a remarkable series with way, way more subtleties than is usual:
* the incongruous, disabled, fragility of the Holmes and Fiona scenes
* references to TS Elliott's poetry, and his 'The Waste Land' was particularly appropriate for the Staten Island meeting place
* Joan's/ Lucy's always commendable fashion

Now it's fixed.

Yep needed better editing - "to hell with the weekly procedurals" should all run together on the same line. Abject apologies.

The crux of the show of course is their relationship – to hell with the weekly procedurals, they’re just a vehicle for the plot and really don’t matter.

Brad, Brad, appropriate yes! but Joan's way more ladylike.

Tho' supposed that was played-out to the max in Kill Bill 2 (?) when she lost……………………………………………………………………………..her head.
