Actually I was kidding and was referring to the title (which was very appropriate) not the lyrical content. PF have made some really tremendous music (particularly like 'The Wall' - one of my all time greats) although some of there very early work was a bit dodgy.

Alexa see that you did a review about another show earlier –
one that’s totally different and perhaps a little trivial in tone and subject matter in comparison to PoI. Sounds as
though it’s some kind of hybrid of ‘Girls’ and ‘Sex in the City’. Congrats for making the necessary ‘switch in gears’ in a relatively short

OK totally fitting and inspired background music at the end with
Pink Floyd’s ‘Welcome to the Machine” (remarkably prescient by PF, as they
composed this 42 years ago with uncanny advance knowledge of the Series).

Alexa, with all due respect (yes a highly questionable phrase) really feel that although justified, your rant against Scientology was actually 'off topic' and diluted your appreciation of this Episode. As evidenced by all of our comments (and we're all very discerning, plus supporters of yourself) no way was this a

To be honest I really don't know. When I was typing the comment was recalling that she was on the driver's side, but really can't swear to it and "driven" makes more sense.

A+ - really don’t follow that many TV shows on A.V/TV Club, but surely
there aren’t many that are this consistently good?

Dear Alexa,

Gabby, I agree and also gave it a B.

What a long strange, twisted trip, involving three devious,
murderous saps (four including Broadchurch and Joe Miller); who had no idea
when to stop.

"I'm just glad the only famous guest star I've recognised has been Natalie Dormer."

Actually Brad like your humorous and kidding preoccupation with T-wift.

Myles sorry but your comment that Joan "eventually she goes to Gregson and finds out Hannah’s already told him what happened"

Why, why does 'Disqus' continually try to take over posting comments from A.V. CLUB, even when you've logged-in to AVC?
Sorry and with all due respect (a very questionable phrase) it really is a pain.

Surely Clyde, now this is way, way too simple and corny, has to be a Turtles fan; but maybe they were before his time (altho' I seem to recall that tortoises live to a pretty advanced age).

Maybe pursuing the 'Everyone' angle, adding a shady 'think tank' (financed by a barely disguised, fictional of course, Koch Bros) and an FBI cover-up is getting too much into Person of Interest territory (of which I'm a big fan)?

I don't know whether this has been noted previously that Jonny Lee Miller, either consciously or unconsciously, appears to incorporate Chaplin mannerisms into the character - particularly in his walk.
Holmes is evolving and 'Heaven forbid' even shows signs of EMPATHY. His second explanation concerning Joan's

"The A.V. Club is no longer capitalizing internet, and I wanted to express my existential struggle with this fact."

"Not to be mean, but why would Lee and Hardy be nuts over Claire? Not exactly Heidi Klum."

West Ham,
Thank you for the wig info, which sounds valid and was also noted by Armin above.
Sorry about your footie team - started off with a bang, now more back to normal.
PS Possibly we know each other from The G?

"Watching Ellie scream at her sister & older son takes away whatever sympathy her character evoked at the end of the last season. She is all anger "
