Well.
I had to work tonight, so I watched this at work, while playing Pokemon on my DS. So my attention was a little divided.

Saw it.
Not that good. Maybe the real pilot will be better… what was this again? Sneak peek? If it's the first episode aired it's the premiere, and that's that. Don't go promoting your fancy premieres on me if you've already aired an episode, ABC.
My observations.
I wasn't a big fan of Brooke's song tonight either. I thought she was cute, that's about it. I think the "It's okay"s were to the audience, not the judges, but it was still annoying.
Juliet wanted to take women off the island to do a sort of control experiment, but Ben freaked out and wouldn't allow it.
"Laissez-faire" is a French phrase than can be loosely translated to "to let be." Basically it means that she didn't care.
Ryan
Was I the only one who thought Ryan *may* have been on crystal meth tonight? His freakout after Chikezie's performance was very… strange. To say the least.
I agree with you on Brooke's crying, Claire. Didn't think she was faking it but they seemed unnecessary.
Jason Sudeikis?
What are you doing here?
It's weird that you say that, because when they said "A face you never expected to see again…" I immediately thought, "BOONE!?" And then I was like, "Oh, right, Michael."
I'm going to miss you!!
Bye Danny! Best of luck! I'll miss your sass! Have fun! I hope you get a hot boyfriend out of it at least!
Uhm.. wait.
"Children can be the meanest, most despicable heartless wretches…"
I have a few things to say.
First of all, it CLEARLY should have been Amis who went home—she has been routinely awful. And is dumb. And is ugly.
It's number 62 in AFI's 100 Years…100 Movies.
Does anyone watch this?
Is it even worth releasing on DVD?
I think Tootsie is a very well crafted movie
Yeah they use it as an example in all the screenwriting textbooks.
Yeah I have a Brazilian classmate and she loves both the movie and the TV series. Also a primetime soap that airs every night.
Dammit I've done that twice tonight now. Anyway, what was with it when she yanked her arm out of Ryan's hand? It was a very odd moment, and she still hugged him after her song.
What was with Alexandrea
Yeah I mean the shallowness was definitely not understated. Nor was its importance.
Marie Antoinette
Come on, what's not to love about Marie Antoinette? I know I'm in the minority in this, but I loved it. And frankly, if it weren't so shallow, I don't know if it would work so well, because part of the movie is how mindless her life was.
