Yup, that "Haunting in Connecticut" movie was pretty fucking awful. Still, I have some love for "1408" — PG-13 horror is in a sad state nowadays, but there are some fun apparitions, and it's even mildly soul-crushing at times. I mean, it's PG-13 soul-crushing, but it's reasonably potent.

Yeah, this. I mean, it's sort of Common-by-numbers, but in terms of memorability, it's miles beyond Finding Forever and is there any use mentioning Universal Mind Control at this point or should we all just collectively try to forget? B+/A- is right where I am with this, too.
