This was an awful, awful episode. Beyond the fact that it ripped off aspects of Dexter, Breaking Bad, Hannibal and half a dozen other much better executed versions of this story, it turned Elizabeth into the typical woman-in-peril exploitative trope that shows keep wheeling out to appeal to base instincts. James

Agreed. He's got a regular gig now and doesn't need to pop back in. Plus, with Philadelphia nuked and the Monroe Republic shattered, the odds of his reappearing are pretty slim even if he didn't die in that instance.

I feel like he saw his wife as more of a possession than he did an object of true affection. That said, I do feel like he's a fairly schizophrenic individual to date - first he's an anarchist pedophile, then he's an obsessive opportunist. I'm hopeful they'll find someway to work the two together as I doubt he's gone

We haven't seen the body, so I'm not going to count on him being dead just yet. (I still hope Mark Pellegrino's going to show up as he was shot off-camera, for instance.)

I'm really sort of hoping both Aaron and Rachel are given superhuman abilities as it goes along. Then the show can turn into Heroes! Everyone loved how that went, right?

That was probably the worst episode of season one for me.

That is starting to bother me - Willoughby, the walls, David Lyons' facial hair all coming up. I'll probably mention it in the next review.

I have watched this a good 30 times this morning. It is my new favorite thing ever.

Let's just say it moved me… TO A BIGGER HOUSE!

It works on so many levels!

I see you've played Wifi-Spooney before.

Excelente!

Can I get a staff badge? I want a staff badge.

The "previously on" they aired before the season premiere, to my mind, tells you everything you need to know. There are a few episodes that weren't dreadful last season, but I can't endorse anyone watching the whole thing.

I'm so upset Generic Handsome Mercenary survived while Grizzled Russian Mercenary was the one that died.

It was included on the screener - I haven't seen the on-air version yet.

WE LEARNED IT FROM WATCHING YOU!

"A desolate wasteland of bulging word counts, too-long articles, and empty pontifications about even the most banal of TV shows." Thanks boss!

Homer vs. The 18th Amendment. Rex Banner v. Beer Baron trumps all contenders.

"To Homer! And to Sgt. Pepper, who's growing out of your back."
"Ah Barn, you gotta unwrap the plastic before you smoke these."
