Looking forward to thinking about that one in a few weeks.

Sigh. That always bugs me, particularly on DVD releases where you'd think the creative minds involved would have more say over the final order.

Plus Katie Finneran's claw gesture. I love the fact that made it into the opening titles.

Part of me wonders if the fact that both of them working on the episode together meant neither one could bring their A-game. These are two of the most distinctive creative voices in TV writing, and perhaps collaboration in this instance wasn't the best.

I also completely forgot that this episode has one of my favorite Scrubs interactions of all time:

"Where do you think we are?" Sniffle.

Fair point - and on reviewing it again, I can see the indications of their big picture. Though it still seems like they're just being mean for most of the episode, and the vagueness isn't nearly as clever as the show has proven it can be.

I could see them winding up on Hannibal.

I went back to read some S1 reviews and realized I completely forgot his addictions used to be part of the show.

I really like Jessy Schram in a more evil role, and I'm annoyed we haven't seen any of her since the premiere.

It is a magnificent beard. And makes him seem even more intellectual.

These two episodes - and the first Michael J. Fox episode - were something special. The roof toilet is still comic genius to this day. Everyone's reactions were golden - I liked how the Janitor gets progressively more irritated by people using it, and how he's able to persuade The Todd that it's a religious metaphor.

Really? Huh. I've only watched Mockingbird Lane once, I'll have to revisit to check that.

That doesn't bode well for the next two weeks.

I forgot about that! That would indeed be excellent. I feel like Pally would make a great member of the Miller family.

Oh God. Revolution PTSD flashbacks coming right up.

"We'll need to have a look inside you with this camera. [Mouth opens] Guess again!"

That's what's really been bothering me - I thought at the season premiere they salvaged what I considered a really lame twist at the end of the season finale, and they've squandered every last bit of it.

"I don't deserve this award! Or the parking space on L1! … But I am taking the afternoon off."

Who's that girl? It's JESS!
