(Respectful nod of the head) We are grateful for your support.

Thank you! Looking forward to seeing how this progresses.

PHRASING!

Renaissance Italy's actually been a hobby of mine for a few years now, so I'm aware of how the story played out in real life. Given how loose the show is with its history (I'm not really sure what year it's supposed to be anymore) I'm planning to leave out discussion of real-world events until they actually happen on

Hats weren't very frequent in this episode, though I did like the one Alexander's wearing in the above photo.

That was the absolute worst "next week on" I've ever seen. Everyone's making cryptic comments and walking in and out of rooms. I feel like AMC's just reached the point of taunting us.

"The Godfather Returns" was actually published in 2004, not 1994.

"Somebody somewhere is looking at the huge numbers for Walking Dead and the Grammys and is quietly contemplating a show where the zombies sing."

I believe the technical term is "crasturbation." A synthesis of crying and masturbating.

Well, this at least answers the question of whether or not Vivien was going to leave the house. And now her ghost will bitch about it for all eternity.

Does anyone else find it interesting that when there's a rat, it's always Silvio who takes out the trash? First Jimmy Aprile in S1, then his role in executing Pussy in S2, and now this.

"Apparently, this episode originally included a scene where Christopher
told Tony about Adriana. It was cut by David Chase at the behest of
Steven Van Zandt and Drea de Matteo, in order to preserve the suspense
of the sequence with the two in the car."

A whiskey lounge by my house once offered bourbon maple bacon ice cream. It was every bit as decadent as it sounds.

Fear for scripted drama
I'm not really sure I agree with your argument that that success of The Voice should cause those of us who like scripted drama to fear. As has been mentioned many times (I believe on your podcast as well), the fact that American Idol lets FOX print money means they can do things like keep

"Anthropomorphic." All yours, big guy.
What I really like about these episodes is that you keep seeing signs that they thought this out - after seeing Weevil get misty-eyed during Lily's tribute video, and Wanda mentions to Veronica that Lily had a thing for bad boys, we then learn that Weevil did actually have

It's not ownage! I'm on your team!
(Whistle) Yeah, after being mostly ambivalent toward the show in its first three episodes, these two seriously grabbed me. Both of the cases here cut out the majority of high school drama that I felt bogged down the early episodes, and here we got to just watch Veronica being a

Guest stars, Dandy Warhols and more
Thought in brief: I wonder what it says about your show that you can cast Paris Hilton one week and Melissa Leo the next. And I had not known until now that the Dandy Warhols did the theme song for this show. That alone earns it a lot of points.

Another novice along for the ride
Also following along with the show on Netflix for the first time, and looking forward to the journey.

I've had a hard time buying them as a couple for some reason - Walton Goggins and Joelle Carter play well off each other, but I don't feel a romantic vibe there. Maybe we just haven't had enough time with them, but I do feel we could use some more building there to create sparks.

Justified: from good to great
Holy hell - this episode has pushed "Justified" from good to great. The Chekov's watch came into play, the party and negotiation was a thing of beauty, and Raylan's finally got another body on his plate. I cannot wait to see what war Mags declares on him for this - because there's no way
