I do. When I was a kid I had no idea who my real aunts/uncles/cousins were because I had so many honorary ones. It also really grossed me out when I grew up and one of my former "cousins" hit on me. I knew we weren't really related but I still thought of him as family (although I guess the feeling wasn't mutual.)
