Yeah, I don't see what the big deal is. Women, even those who kick ass, are concerned with their romantic relationships. Especially given that this is the first time her lovers haven't died.

That's kind of my issue. Although the European system had 4 elements, the Asian one had 5 (fire,earth,metal,water,air). It seems weird to me that they would explicitly call something "metal bending" and treat it as an aspect of earth bending rather than acknowledging metal as it's own element.

Why is there no real metal bending? In the chinese elemental cycle, metal is a distinct element. Yet nobody seems in the world seems to entertain that possibility. Do you think that this is an oversight of the creators, or are they setting us up for Korra to rediscover metal-bending?
