When you film in New York, it doesn't make much sense to fly in actors from Toronto.

Z? E? A?

Oh shit, this is also the episode that had "Put Disney's head on the phone" in it, with the implication that he means Walt Disney's cryogenically frozen head.

I think my favorite gag was the Titus glaring at Kimmy for using her banana-smartphone as a phone, and her sheepishly using it to text instead.

I feel like maybe he should change his name and consider retail. Montgomery Ward.

And a show. Er.

The phone call thing was pretty obvious to me, too, but I also like the fact that apparently they did different takes with the same dialogue to recontextualize it. JtV did the same thing this week.

No, it was along the lines of "Going to Winston Zeddmore High School thanks to Mr. L! I'll never forget what he did!"

I rewatched that scene literally just now and can't find your reading about the show wanting us to think he's a child molester at all. He blanches at the things in the yearbook and that's how we know that Kimmy's sunny interpretation of it isn't what happened—particularly since there's nothing at all that suggests…

Nice catch.

No, Kimmy was the one who said "you touched a boy and made him a man." He even outright says that the kid in question was supposed to go to Bronx Science, but he steamed off the stamp and used it to mail a fan letter to Beverly D'Angelo.

That was one of two surprise castings that I jumped up and pumped my fist at.

"Spider-Man's two greatest nemeses, gravity and floors" still makes me cackle when I think about it.

It was the "Ladykiller sweater." Then he said something to the effect of "This is like the Charles Manson overalls all over again!"

Well, one of them has the right hair.

Why yes, I'd love to pair Kimmy with Cece. Why do you ask?

I didn't get that until you pointed it out, and my mind has been in the gutter so long that I naturalized with flying colors.

She gets much better mileage here than she does out of Gotham.

I was WONDERING if that was AtN. It had their signature feel, but I felt Jeff Richmond could ape it easily.

Vague spoiler alert: I'm not going to say anything about whether or not you see his Wal-Mart arrest specifically, but they do eventually show footage of things Wayne has done, and it's glorious.
