I must say I have watching Book of Negroes and it has been fantastic.

Living in Quebec, I had never heard of a "donair" until I watched Trailer Park Boys and heard the name of the restaurant King of Donair. In Que we call them "doner" and pronounce it like donor. Distinct society indeed.

I just watched this over the holidays and loved it for many reasons, which I will not enumerate here because no one is reading this anymore. But I am adding my comment to increase the numbers to ensure regular AV Club coverage for S2, because this show deserves it.

It was worth a try

Sigh. I miss the <blink>tag</blink>

I, for one, have seen this episode 30, 40, 50 times maybe? Anyway, a lot.

Well the season (series?) finale was competent. It was almost gripping in places! I thought the two main stories came together pretty well. I thought the ending (SPOILERS AHEAD) of dead robo-kid being in all the computers was pretty hokey, but otherwise a pretty satisfying conclusion. You can see how a second season

[crowd] "How Dome was she?"

Damn you Sonia for stopping now! There are things to talk about from last night. Like, WTF was up with that ending? And one-armed guy has a backstory! And robo-kid speaks Japanese!

Mind you, pøny bites kan be really nasti.

Independent Lens: Muscle Shoals (PBS, 9 p.m.)

I logged out just to give this another upvote. This was the line of the episode, if not the entire season.

boy now I'm embarrassed.

Has AV Club quietly stopped reviewing MF? They missed a pretty good ep last night.

Straight guys talkin' about Glee

If there is one thing I hate it's AV Club commentors complaining about grades. Yet…
