More like it always comes back to the Simpsons with Nathan Rabin.

I had really fond memories of the State, especially after more than a decade of not seeing any of it. When I bought the DVD's I was surprised as to how badly some of it aged. There were still some bright spots, but not as good as I remembered it.
I really enjoyed this show too. I had no idea it was on DVD, but those bastards at Amazon are charging 20 bucks for what I am sure is only one disc.
"My Custom Van" was a really enjoyable read. The fuckin taco party sounded like an incredibly good time.
What exactly is Portlandia if it doesn't have "him and that stupid bitch?"
I thought the medical marijuana one was the funniest of the bunch.
There have been a whole lot of commercials for this show, which means that CC gave up on it already. It's been clear over the years that they more they hype a show, the shorter it's run will be, regardless of ratings or quality.
Don't you see that Louis CK has gotten too popular for the hipster douchebags of the world to like anymore? It was fine when he was an unknown comic's comic, but now that he has achieved bigger success, the hipsters have to leave him behind. That is just the way it goes.
The Wolf would apologize if necessary because he is a very courteous person.
I just watched the Corner last week. I watched the first three episodes one day, then the second three a few days later. There was so much more pain, without the lighthearted moments and much less hope than the Wire and Treme, that I'm glad there were only six episodes. It was good, but I won't rewatch it like the…
I watched this movie for the first time in school. It was the last day of the 8th grade in 1994. The girl who suggested it just said it was about the last day fo school and our teacher said it was fine to watch with no further questions. Within about 15 minutes there were like a hundred kids crammed into that…
I just finished season 1 of Treme last night/this morning. Luckily I got the last two discs at the same time so I could watch the last five episodes all in a row. If a show is good, there is no reason to purposefully watch it too slow.
That is actually insulting to the Cheesecake Factory.
Indeed. Even after watching the whole series of the Wire several times now, I still get just as addicted as before. Just last week I watched a random episode and the next thing I knew I was seriously tired, the sun had been up for a couple hours already, and I was putting the next disc in the DVD player.
I've watched both the Wire and Treme on DVD, so 2-3 episode spurts at a time (though more at certain times), and I thought it worked out great that way. I don't think I could have waited a week for each episode. There is something about David Simon's pacing and details that makes me really want to see what happens…
No Code is the best overall Pearl Jam album.
Florida: America's wang
Yea, I thought the new album was pretty good, even with a lack of much new material. With the exception of Scream, which truly was a horrible piece of shit, almost everything Cornell has ever been involved with has been decent to great. The same cannot be said for Kanye and his excessively egotistic behavior.
That face was good, but not quite as good as Jerry's face after he said he slept with both Elaine and Suzie and broke that guy's thumbs too.
I second your BOO. I just started watching season 1 on DVD and am looking forward to season 2.
