I am getting these through Netflix right now and watched the Bad Eggs episode last night. I have a feeling The Gorch Brothers are a not so subtle reference to Sam Peckinpaugh's The Wild bunch, where Warren Oates and Ben Johnson play brothers named Lyle and Tector Gorch.

Primarily a Jazz and Blues guy, his songs have been covered by some bands you wouldn't think of doing his songs.

Mose Allison
An excellent songwriter, Van Morrison, along with Georgie Fame and Ben Sidran did a album of Mose Allison covers that gets ton on playtime on my home and car stereo.
