I too liked Drive but wasn't blown away.  Liked most of the performances, although I honestly thought Ron Perlman was just embarrassing himself.  He seemed to walk in from another movie set.

Ah, the Gibson/Eszterhas movie sounds much more appealing.  Don't really care for Gibbo's politics or anything, but he's a pretty great filmmaker and that's all that really matters when he's working on movies.  Too bad the Viking flick with Dicaprio doesn't seem to be happening, because that sounded…interesting.

Balls of Fury
Never watched Lopez's show, was never really a fan of him, but he was pretty hilarious in Balls of Fury. Seriously, that whole movie was hilarious. I don't know why, and I feel kind of bad about it - which is never a good thing - but yeah, I like it. The main guy, the fat guy, he was great.

Ah, fuck Imperial Bedrooms. I'm a pretty big fan of most everything else he's written, but fuck that book.
