The A.V. Club
I'm really enjoying this series. I had to start getting a grip on FPSing when I started playing a lot of open world RPGs with major shooting elements. I feel so much better watching Alex struggle with so many of the same things I did. I'm still not great, but I (almost) never panic and get cornered any more. I still…
I think a smell fee is a good idea, like a fine for people who wear too much cologne, or a discount at the fish market when it's hot and windless.
I'd be interested to know how it goes.
There's no upper hand. You're treating conversation and disagreement as a competitive sport. It's petulant and obnoxious.
Holy shit, no.
Okay. But what does that have to do with kids being scared by movies?
I don't think stages of childhood development have actually changed. We just don't send 'em to work in the mines before they've mastered the difference between fantasy and reality or object permanence.
I'm sure it was horrifying to small children back then, too. Bambi is still shorthand for childhood film traumas.
"Kidfucker."
I could call Richard Dawkins many things, but 'stupid' isn't one.

The show reminded me of Lost more than anything else. I loved it enough that I'm nervous that if they get another season they'll wreck it. (But I'm also really glad they got another season)
I would…
I would say watch Bride first. They're both pretty funny, but Bride of Chucky probably goes down easier. Seed is more of a demented screwball jumble.
And 1986 followed up to see if you got the message.

Sense8 also had a pretty rocky start. This is the second Netflix series that I wanted to walk away from after the first two episodes, but wound up loving as the series went on.
It was out of your hands.
Upvoted for because there was a power outage.
I don't think we've reached Observe and Report levels of embarrassment. She's mostly right, and her missteps are minor, I think.
That's the fear, though. Unfortunately or fortunately, 'feminists' as a group are steering the conversation about the representation of women. When writers and commentators don't know what…
