Criers try very hard to hide the fact that they're crying at an Asylum Syfy movie.

Too much Mayim Bialik, not enough Anna Torv.
Lightweight actors hired for the pretty who don't have the chops for gravitas or pathos or the intimation of interior lives.
Killed Arrow for me.

The announcer's description of Breaking Bad was the funnier than the funniest 'jokes'  ever written for MythBusters.

WHY DOES AVCLUB HATE OUR FREEDOMS!?

nichobert I think that's Ke$ha.

Slartibartfaust seems like the kind of person who would kill themselves with beer. And anger.
It's a tragedy, really. A very obnoxious tragedy.

The world would be a better place if we all stopped paying attention, it's true.

It's not 'unpopular ideas', it's part of a concerted effort to spread lies and misinformation. Lies and misinformation with an agenda.

It's not a good sign when I'm feeling sorry for the actors by the end of the movie.
Some of the performances are so good and so wasted. The only time I wasn't angry at the film was when her Red Queen was onscreen.

D'oh!

D'oh!

I liked the novel, not nearly as much as I liked 11/22/63 or Wind Through the Keyhole, but well enough.
I think it might work better as a miniseries. They have a shot at fixing the ending and getting the story to move. Stranger things have happened.
