Not too fond of the Odd Future guys, but the rest of that list is on point.  That Joey Bada$$ creeped up on me out of no where.  Downloaded it on a whim and was incredibly impressed.  Would also like to include Emilio Rojas, Jon Connor, KRIT, Pill, & Don Trip, as some more youngsters to keep an eye on.

C4C was great, its just a hair below mike, oc, oh no, and reks, albeit not by much. Almist certain it will still end up in my year end top 10.

Agreed on literally everything. 2 more albums id throw in to AOTY discussion with Mike & OC are Reks "Straight No Chaser" and Oh No "Ohnomite". Very strong year for rap so far. Im enjoying it immensely.

@avclub-9581964fb9f07c57d5dacb12ce6d6b30:disqus Don't get me wrong, i don't think he's that great from a technical standpoint.  There are many out there with his style that are more technically proficient, but A$AP, to me, comes out ahead because his ear for beats is generally spot on and a tad unique at that. Having

@colonel gentleman I agree what he's saying isn't exactly unique, but when he does it, it sounds better than the million other rappers with that shtick. His flow is tight, hes got a bit of charisma, and his beats are usually flawless. Its not his uniqueness that's getting him praise, just that his shit sounds better

As far as trap rap goes, the 2 guys I like the most right now are don trip and Pill. Both are a bit more lyrically advanced, and Pill's flow is very smooth. For Pill id recommend the song "on da korner" and for don trip either "guerilla" or "trapped in the trap"

Liking this and @skymall comment is not enough. Agreed 100% with both of you. rappers like asap and the like get too much shit for their styles. I enjoyed skelethon as well as C4C, but ive also loved Smoke DZA's newest as well as J-stalin, bumpy knuckles, and Don Trip. You don't have to like all this stuff, but the

God as my witness, i will make that movie myself if i have to. It probably wont be any good, seeing as im a grocery worker and not a writer/director, but damnit one day it will be made.

I don't think i could have possibly been less prepared for a Jerry Sandusky reference right there. Talk about a jolt to the system.
