It seemed to me that the wind left Elaine's sails when she discovered Garcetti wasn't behind the blackmail of the gay Republican congressman - if she believed he knew about it, that could have accounted for some of the disdain.

I agree, but the worldly Mike has been wrong about things numerous times this season: (1) that none of his guys would turn on each other at Lydia's offer, (2) assuming Lydia put the GPS on the barrels, and (3) that the Arizona contact had a completely non-conflicting territory.  And, that Walt could escape a plastic…

I don't know - that "Crazy Christians" sketch was pretty clever.
