I was hoping for a scene where someone is watching tv and what's on is the movie 'Oliver,' which has a song called 'As Long as He Needs Me.' It's a love song about a guy (Sykes, played by Oliver Reed) who is an angry drunk (commonlaw) wife beater, sung by the battered (commonlaw) wife. Would have been a nifty little

From Wikipedia:
The Serious Game (Swedish: Den allvarsamma leken) is a 1912 novel by Hjalmar Söderberg. It tells the story of a man and a woman who fall in love when young, and remain in love, but stay separated and marry others.

To me it felt like they were doing a SERIES finale and then partway through heard they'd been renewed for another season.
No reaction scenes of Pam or Willa of Eric's toasting - hmmm. The rules of tv clearly state a startle followed by knowing look, ending with melancholy frown/smile.

Very true; it was something about its big dumb face, it just made me tear up.

It is for this very reason that I'm only giving the TITLE to the most barf-inspiring song ever to be in the vicinity of Neil Sedaka:

…stumbles on the heels she is not used to wearing [CUE LAUGH TRACK.]
"You'll be FINE - just make sure he doesn't take you DANCING!" [CUE LAUGH TRACK]
CUT TO: DANCE CLUB….

He can kill you with his brain.

"How YOU doin'?"

It's "Rye-JELL," not "Rye-GULL."
Ruined the whole ep for me.

The face of the fish made me start to cry.

I've been hooked on Aqua Teen ever since I first saw its description in the on-screen cable guide: "Food products solve crimes."
It's weird to have a crush on french fries, isn't it? Oh well..

Good talk show guest, also directed, wrote on 'Get Smart,' probably wrote pieces for Playboy and the New Yorker. One of those guys halfway between the center and the periphery that cool people (SNL, 2nd City, etc) knew about.

It was so Alexis and Krystal, loved it! (oh… some of you may need to ask old people about Alexis and Krystal…)

"VAMPIRES, BITCH!"

Nah, if she was trying she would have 1) Not turned her back on a psycho bitch, and 2) Taken her shoes off right away.

Oh my god I loved that game. It was delightful. Chickens that came out of a pipe. Is all I really remember.

To be fair, MASH is only on 5 or 6 times a day now. Not like the old days.
It was the Seinfeld of its day, to a certain audience. Ahhh, Bach….

Next week on The Newsroom: Mary finds herself the owner of WJM, now a national network and sworn foe of ACN…

I REALLY miss Fangtasia Eric. The Eric we first saw when we first saw Eric.

Inspired by her courage… effulgent.
