I know of him mostly through mentions on Opie and Anthony; he was okay on their show the other day. And I maybe saw a Comedy Central half hour or something of his? Nothing against him but after last night I'd still consider myself "not really a fan."

That was the frightening part (and sorry again, Twitterverse.)

The funniest part of the show was following it on Twitter. And the most frightening.

Dead Side Story.

Popplers. Heard they're incredible.

I didn't mind this show, didn't pay too much attention to it, didn't think I liked it all THAT much but left the tv on the channel instead of flipping around.
Tonight I realized I really kind of love these people and this show. But Ron the most (the ring thing was, and I generally hate this word, awesome!)

I just wrote pretty much the same thing (only way shorter and more boring) and scrolled down to find myself delighted that I'm not a freak for thinking along the same lines about this song. At the time it came out it was a major 'what the HELL????' and it pretty much still is. Heart didn't deserve to have to record

I remember being SHOCKED that it got so much airplay at the time, as it was 1990 and everywhere you looked was PROTECT YOURSELF! BE SAFE! CONDOMS! and this chick is getting pregnant from a one night stand…
Also, christ what a shitty song.

Springsteen thought so too - dated her. Him. Her.

OH! And Linda Blair kidnapped by Martin Sheen to his mountain cabin, where she of course falls in love with him because it's the 70s and Patty Hearst.

ABC really deserves some sort of lifetime achievement award for Movie of the Week, for these, plus stuff like Bad Ronald, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (I think that was the title - Kim Darby and tiny gnomes scared of flashbulbs) and Barbara Eden as the pregnant-by-space-alien movie.

saboTAGE.

Galaxy Quest, on and off. I find the fact that Galaxy Quest is on nearly 100% of the time on one station or another very comforting. Last night various reaction shots and dialogue bits worked really nicely when going back and forth to SNL in a MST3K sort of way.

I found myself thinking 'dammit, if he's so in love with this concept why not make a separate freaking SHOW based on it. Call it CALIFORNIA or someth-'
And at that point I had my first laugh based on something connected to Fred Armisen.

Guessing you're too young to remember Broderick Crawford…

It was the best show of my flerm.

That late at night I usually have Adult Swim on and this fulfilled my stupid/silly/funny/embarassing needs. I kinda wish it had been longer. Guest chef Tony Great Dane? Ripert as French Poodle?
Oh dear; think I need some silly and funny to balance this comment… also, Bobby Moynihan needs new 'Update characters.

I was hoping for a Python fake ending at the end, complete with the old BBC logo and a couple more minutes of homage. But I give this an 'A' because of the hermit opening. I wish I hadn't known about it in advance and envy the Python fans that didn't. It must have been, for lack of a better word, 'awesome.'

I hate when that happens.
