Revolution and the New Normal have their pilots up on Hulu, as well.

I watched four or five episodes of Common Law and it stayed exactly the same as the pilot.

You made me curious with the 80's songs reference — Google tells me the Target ad songs are from 1982 and 1984. So, really, they are before my time (as a mom of a school-age child). And I'm not the only one. 'Cause really, you had to be born by 1975 or so to know the first song when it was popular; if you had a child

That was awesome. Thanks for the link.

I know the first seasons are the best, but I love watching them all. And there is something to watching the series all the way through. (Every time I start rewatching them, I end up going all the way through.) If you keep writing, I'll keep reading.

I never watched Law & Order, and I thought this episode was hilarious. (I've watched a number of other cop shows, though, and I think a lot of the same themes run through them.)

I'd love it if you could check in on NYC 22 and see if it gets any  good, later on. I think reviewing it week to week might be asking a bit much of it though. (Though Rookies, which it sounds like it's trying to be, didn't get good until season 2.)

I know the rest doesn't live up to the start, but I do enjoy the whole thing and I'd love to read Alias all the way through. (When I rewatch it, I do go all the way through. Unlike Roswell, where I frequently stall after the first season.)

It is possible to grow their audiences — I tried both Community and Cougar Town because of AV Club end of year best lists, and have gotten completely hooked.

Why did Caroline's dad die at her house? Why wasn't his boyfriend/spouse with him? Why on earth would he be there dying with his ex-wife instead of with his new family?

Kingdom is a nice show to watch this way.

I first recall "sexpionage" in the 2010 show Undercovers. (It was, unfortunately, as terrible as it sounds.) It's certainly possible it showed up before that.

It's not to late to watch it on Hulu.

Okay, I tried it. I still prefer sitcoms that hit further from home. (And really, watching a family sitcom and finding only the mom to identify with, not fun.) Though I have to say, it is a funny show.

Thanks. The Christmas episode was funny. (Though if it's going to be Roseanne, I really need Darlene.)

If I've never seen the show, will it work to jump in right here? Or is it better to start at the beginning with the help of Netflix? Or any other of the episodes on Hulu?

Have a good Christmas and enjoy your time off.
