I honestly can't tell if this is sarcasm, so…. if you're legit comparing Rogue One's generic sci-fi schlock with either of those great movies, which are both based upon true stories of real humans and in one case starring Tom Goddamn Hanks then I'm not sure we can have a proper discussion of the former's few merits.

Well, exactly. The fan consensus around the Internet seems to be that Rogue One is a better film than The Force Awakens, and all I can think is "fucking why?!" For the first forty minutes of TFA, I hadn't even noticed that none of the old characters had turned up yet, and I didn't care because the new ones were

I disagree that Rogue One was "pretty good". It would call it "aggressively mediocre". Is anyone really upset that we're never going to see Jyn Erso again? Or whoever the fuck Diego Luna was? No, of course not, because they were boring as shit.

Enterprise has its moments in the first two seasons - especially in the first season, when it successfully evokes the feeling of humanity taking baby steps in the galaxy - but is monstrously generic overall. Following that, the third and fourth seasons still have their flaws, but as an antidote to nine continuous

Two things: 1) I like the theme! Maybe it's just been too long since I saw a show with a good orchestral opening, but I look forward to seeing it paired with some cool space visuals.

As an aside, the "long-range explorer" description of Voyager always rang false to me. In the pilot, Stadi and Janeway paint her as more of a maneuverable, short-range frigate type of ship, and then years later crew members are describing it as "built for long term exploration".

Would this ending have actually made me care about any of these characters, as opposed to the original one where I was kinda glad I wouldn't have to see them again?

It'll be interesting to see if the Marvel collaboration and integration into the MCU will be a blessing or a curse. It seems obvious it can only be a good thing, and yet, how much control has Sony retained? What if they screw the pooch? The MCU has had a dream run of movies that rivals Pixar's winning streak, IMO.

I… respectfully disagree…

He's got two Neelix shows in there: Mortal Coil, one of Voyager's best, and Haunting Of Deck Twelve, a resounding "meh". Anyone who can elevate a Neelix show to even "good" deserves the benefit of the doubt, IMO.

For the record, here's Fuller's list of episodes from DS9 and Voyager, courtesy of Memory Alpha. He's got a pretty good record, although there's a couple of stinkers in there (Looking at YOU, "Spirit Folk" and "Fury"!)

Haha. I wish I could go back to those days. I had a massive collection of VHS tapes with Newsradio. It was the most formative comedy of my life and I watched those damn tapes over and over again. One of the highlights of my TV-viewing life came when I ordered the DVD collections off Amazon and discovered to my

Ten ran Newsradio straight after Seinfeld on Thursdays right up until
about the mid-point of season four, when it switched to Tuesdays or
Wednesdays (can't remember which). They never aired season five - its
first airing in Australia came when Foxtel's Comedy Channel picked up
the rights and ran it five days a week.

Mine are from Newsradio:

You just inspired me to queue up some Iron Maiden on Spotify. Kudos, sir.

The most notable thing about both of these episodes, for me, is that I don't remember any details from them at all.

I've only ever seen Profit and Lace twice. Once when it originally came out, and once when I bought DS9 on DVD. After that, I made a vow. NEVER AGAIN!

Oh God. You know you're actually making me want to go and rewatch that episode just to see if I'm missing something, right? Have you no mercy???!!!

I will have to disagree with you there… Way To Eden didn't even make me laugh as a kid watching Dad's VHS recordings of TOS. But hey, what we can agree on is that none of these episodes we're talking about are very good, right?

Hell, nearly half of TNG season one could fight for the spot of Worst TNG Ever. Shades Of Gray is mine because not only is it boring as hell, but it's a clip show that showcases a lot of TNG's worst moments up till that point. Not like there was an embarassment of riches to choose from back then, but still.
