I don't know if this has been said here before, but I was just watching Funny People and was shocked to see that our beloved Dan Harmon has a cameo as a paparazzi towards the end of the movie!

I also wanted to say, Breaking Bad is my second favorite show of all time and I love your screen name!

I only say that because I have seen and heard Harmon refer to the show as being planned as a four-part arc. For instance, Abed's line in "Christmas Infiltration Rap" about this December being the December of their December has been confirmed as a reference to how in the four-part arc each year represents a season.

Definitely A. While I feel like B wouldn't be so bad for a regular show, for Community it wouldn't work. The show was founded under a certain premise, and having the show continue beyond 4 seasons would violate that premise.

I think you might be looking at the episode the wrong way. It is a flashback episode, and as such by definition it is light on story. Flashback episodes are basically bottle episodes with nostalgia substituted for emotional nuance.
The twist, or gimmick, of this episode is that none of the flashbacks have ever been

Hey, did we ever post the final list of the top 30 Community episodes?

Just started watching Mad Men, and I must say it is shocking to see Alison Brie playing a different character. She's become so entrenched in my mind as Annie Edison that seeing her as Trudy Campbell is just weird. She still does a good job though.

Could someone please explain why Mixology Certification has the reputation it has among the Community fanbase? I accept that it's a good episode but my personal taste has kept me from seeing it's full value so I'd love for someone to explain it to me so I can understand the full value of the episode.

I would say it was relatively poor, especially compared to 2010. There were very good movies last year, just not as good as 2010. I do think 2011 was better than 2009, but that's not saying a whole lot. Off the top of my head, the strongest year for movies in the 00's was probably 2007. There were other good years,

I excluded it. Honestly that's more personal preference. I did think it was a great episode, but I thought the comedy mostly fell flat and it was pretty much just a downer for me. The performances were great and it was very smart, it's just one of the only episodes of the show I don't really ever want to see again.

Thanks! Making this list was like pulling teeth! I agree that the Andy Dick hallucination didn't really work. I loved the concept of Pierce being addicted to pills, but I thought Dick's performance didn't fit. I would have preferred Pierce to hallucinate the kind of man he wants to be. Something like a morally

I've seen about half of the first season of 30 Rock, and while it was very funny and made for fantastic television I'm not sure if it deserves all the accolades the show receives. Did the show end up improving significantly as it went on? Or is this just a case of it being extremely funny for the time it came out and

My top 30 list is:
1. Modern Warfare
2. Advanced Dungeons and Dragons
3. Remedial Chaos Theory
4. Paradigms of Human Memory

11. Documentary Filmmaking:

I recently got one of my roommates into watching the show, and through rewatching parts of Season 1 with him I have discovered that I laugh much harder at them now then I did originally. I think once you're used to the characters and the general tone of the show it becomes much funnier.
I definitely agree that

None taken.

Hi, I'm a first time commenter here. Community is my all-time favorite show and I've been reading AV Club articles for several months now, and one thing has confounded me for some time. There seems to be something of a consensus among Community fans that Season 1 is overall better than Season 2. Is this truly the
