Interesting that the two most iconic props on The Price Is Right are the Plinko board and the Big Wheel, the outcomes of which are almost completely a matter of luck and have little to do with pricing.

Someone in the audience actually had that on a shirt and they blurred it out.

Wow, what a great experience to see the original Jeopardy! in New York. My mom went up there to try out for Concentration and my sister tried out for Jeopardy! in the Fleming days.

Back in the Art Fleming days, the clue would have been much more direct about what it wanted. Nowadays part of the challenge is cutting through all the extraneous bullshit to figure out what's really being asked.

The casting has to explain the ongoing popularity, because I wonder how different each season can possibly be from the others, as there are only so many variations on this theme they can do. So the sustained interest has to come from the personalities involved.

I would never stop using a Ninja Turtles suitcase. After all, what's stronger and more durable than a turtle's shell? Nothing, that's what!

Jeopardy! recap for Thur., May 25 - Champ Mackenzie took a small lead with a correct response to DD3 but couldn't hold it, as Jon offered a stronger finish and showed the way into FJ with $13,400 vs. $11,200 for Mackenzie and $1,800 for Melanie.

UC: Hey Chuckie baby, what's the difference between a shower curtain and toilet paper?

Somewhere in the great beyond, Chuck Barris is looking down and saying, "Mocking a kid's parents right to her face? Christ, even I never sunk that low."

Like, ever…

Kasich is never ever ever ever going to be president.

"Can't someone else watch it?"

Looks like if your things are old Westerns and 70s kung-fu, June is your month.

Correct. Jerry Reed and Sandy Duncan, not so much.

Saw it during its opening week. Liked it just fine as a throwback to old-fashioned entertainment. Had no idea I was watching the birth of a new religion.
