Yeah the accents were pretty funny, and Scotty did have some stuff to do, but Chekov (fail on my earlier spelling!) in particular seemed to be nothing BUT a funny accent. That was the whole character.
In terms of the movie though

I actually just finished watching my blu-ray copy of Paprika not 5 minutes ago, then wandered upstairs to find this discussion. I'm kind of freaked out.
Well I looked for a French language option at the time and couldn't find one. This was RIGHT when the DVD first came out, so maybe they've fixed it.
Also, if we're going to talk Futurama, Jurassic Bark is quite the tearjerker, but Luck of the Fryrish and Time Keeps on Slipping are the worst for me.
I'd like to add another vote for Big Fish. Get really weepy at that one. But the Fountain, sweet Jesus. That movie makes me sob like a little girl with a lost puppy. It's absolutely devastating, in absolutely the best way possible.
