As a resident of New England, all I have to say is GODDAMMIT.

As a person under the age of 30, I was gonna argue that, but fuck it. Big Daddy's on and I'm sleepy.

I agree with that. I feel like every time I criticize a movie that just happens to have been directed by a woman, for instance, there's always one person accusing me of only disliking it because it was "made by a woman." I agree that we live in a predominantly sexist and sometimes outright misogynistic culture, but

I love that the real world NBC is colliding with the 30 Rock version in the most hilarious manner possible. What happens when 30 Rock is cancelled? Will the network just fold in on itself?

The King is dead. Long live The King.

I thought this said Klaus Kinski and I was all like, "SAY WHAAAAAAAT?"

No, but it is silly to say that just because something is free then it shouldn't be criticized. In this situation, though, @avclub-1b30481654c404c08fa5671514507e06:disqus doesn't have a leg to stand on because this is a perfectly well written article.

Even though I agree with you, I hate it when people make the "So what, it's free!" argument. It's pretty senseless when you get right down to it. Questionable Content, for example, is a free webcomic, but that doesn't mean it's not still a trash-churning machine.

Totally relevant:

You have to be declared dead by a doctor. There's legalities, I think, like they have to issue a certificate of death and things like that. I'm sure you know this, so I don't know why I'm even saying any of this.

Or The Replacements, any time they stepped on stage at any venue anywhere ever.

I think that was Jim Jones.

Ahem, the correct response is: My wife, Eleanor.

But he had such keene insight into Kurt Cobain's suicide!

Even if it means me taking a chubby, I will suck it up!

Alright, everybody, it's a fuck off!

I think anybody who says Meg White's drumming is terrible (which it is) is missing the point. DYNAMICS, PEOPLE!

Louis WHO?

I love U2 and The Edge, but he's not a technical wizard by any means. But hey, he came up with an original sound that's not entirely reliant on the blues, so I'll give him that.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of The Dead Weather or The Raconteurs either. Haven't explored much aside from those two bands, both of which combined don't even come close to filling in the hole left behind by The White Stripes, and I really have no interest in going beyond them.
