Debbie appears to be suffering from depression and is not unlike a hoarder that buys things to receive a "rush" but her funds don't really allow for it.

All true. As far as Canadian scandals go, the Senate is no Rob Ford smoking crack, but the fact that they are all ratting each other out DOES make it pretty sweet.

Good guess, Newton, but, you know, I finally figured out where I first heard it. When I was a kid, pre-internet, we had these things called books. Since no one had invented IMDB yet, I read The Complete Directory to Prime Time TV Shows - cover to cover - and that was where I learned that little factoid.
