ANNNND she's in a car commercial where she and her boyfriend drive to the end of the Earth and stop before they drive into a dark void.

In addition, I have to throw out some love for the Geico commercial with the Roadshow parody and the woman finding out her bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Oh No, Not Again!
Why is the American populace subjected to another plot line about getting children into exclusive fancy pants schools? Every time I see this plot (and it was on both Modern Family and Cougar Town just months ago) I can't roll my eyes enough.
I wasn't the biggest Just Shoot Me fan, but I always had a soft spot for their Christmas episode, "How the Finch Stole Christmas" with Kelsey Grammer filling in for Boris Karloff.
This is such a shame. I'm just now getting back on the Barney Miller train and watching the reruns daily. Dietrich is absolutely my favorite on the show. He really was a "proto-nerd hero."
For those who are interested, here are next year's contestants:
"Hope" was great last night if only for Jason Lee's "Kenny?" "No, my name is Barney." line.
The question is, which one of the Palin kids is going to be the bad seed liberal that is going to come out against Queen Sarah. There are enough of them that statistically it's bound to happen.
Well, of course Mint Berry Crunch is a superhero…
…his alter ego has an alliterative name.
I love me some Conan beard. It reminds me of a hot Santa ala "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town."
As per an old Letterman Top 10 List…
Mr. Peanut's first name is Keith.
Yay Johnny Boo!
My 5 year old loves Johnny Boo. He also likes a lot of the Toon Books titles. I never realized what a great segue comics are from picture books to more "mature" books.
"We both love the Rolling Stones…
…Yes, not for the music, but for their tireless effort to preserve historic buildings."
Me too. What I enjoyed were the subtle implications the Jim and Pam aren't regular attendees of this particular parish: the incorrectly stated surname, the people who didn't seem to really know them. Plus, the godparents that weren't long time friends or family, but a couple they met at Mommy and Me and seemed kinda…
The Apatow episode was fascinating. I had no idea he had all those old recordings with Seinfeld, Shandling and Leno. But, I truly don't believe that those three guys had no recollection of being interviewed by a kid when they were starting out. Were there so many kids interviewing them that it didn't ring a bell?
Is Lily a Cyborg?
Compared to Hope on Raising Hope or even Harrison on Dexter, Lily is just a expressionless robot. There's no way in hell that child can blink, much less blow a kiss or flap her arms. Damn, it's getting distracting now.
Since this show seems to be every channel at one point or another, I constantly run into the theme song, which IS pretty darn catchy and specific for this show. As a fan of the lost art of the TV theme song, that's something that I can get behind.
RE: Human Centipede jokes
Ohhhhhh. I thought she was some sort of Sexy Cupcake. Why can't people dress like Janelle Monae on sitcoms?
Count me in as a Raising Hope recap reader. Despite Leachman, I think the cast is spot on. And Hope, the baby, is actually fun to watch, unlike Lily on Modern Family, who doesn't even blink half the time, much less smile.
