23 Skidoo!

What I always hated about EM:HE is that at least these people have a house. What about the people sleeping in theirs cars?

I am a huge fan of Less than Kind - a fabulous show. There is no reason for it not to be aired in the U.S. where I'm sure it would have a small but dedicated cult following. And Chaykin was a wonderful part of it. Since his character had so many health scares this past season, writing his death into the plot would

I've really enjoyed her previous novels…
…but my favorite was LOST AND FOUND, which took place during an Amazing Race-type reality show. Just excellent.

Alex just didn't appeal to me…
…as anything other than a superior dancer. But I never really "liked" him. I respected his abilities, but I never felt he was my favorite. I WANTED to like him since 99.9 percent of the known world and a significant portion of the unknown world loved him to death, but it just wasn't

But Tasha…
…can I take my 5 year old to it or will he spend the whole time asking me what the minions are saying?

I never thought I'd say this but…
…Mike O'Malley totally deserves that Emmy.

"I don't even own a television…
…Notice I didn't say 'TV'. Because TV is a nickname, and nicknames are for friends, and television is no friend of mine."

I like NinjaVideo because being in Canada we don't currently get the new seasons of Futurama, Top Chef and god knows what else. Maybe in a few months, but I hate being Gordy Come Lately with US tv.

Why no recaps of HK, AV Club??

Just finished this yesterday…
…and it was a super quick read. Now, I KNOW she's exaggerated for comic effect, since she is, after all, a comedian. But I wonder how much she is exaggerating. Some of those stories are pretty out there. And the three households are so wildly different, its a mystery she isn't completely

I will always love "All that Jazz" if only for the soda names:

There were several episodes like that. One had a crazy rich Texan betting that the court couldn't get through all the cases and if they did he would save the orphanage.

Thank you AV Club…
…for teaching me the word "arabber."

Barney Miller is one of those shows I very vaguely remember from my childhood (I remember liking a world weary Abe Vigoda for some reason) but the jokes were completely over my head. But, damn, if that isn't one of the greatest TV themes of all time.

Because of Nick at Night, I was a huge fan of LAUGH IN when I was a kid. I may have been the youngest person alive who knew jokes about "Funk and Wagnalls."

It may have been on Channel 56, but it wouldn't have been Movie Loft level anyway.

I spent so many hours…
…over my childhood watching this movie on WSBK whenever a Red Sox game was rained out.

There Coming to Take me Away…
…haunts my nightmares like no other song I know.

"Straw Hat…" is about a stalker's letter to Anne Murray of all people. There are some lyrics in this song taken from Murray's songs.
