well this is is awkward
I like the trilogy of error/run lola run concept of this a lot more than the end result. As a comedy this was just average.
Ok I'm 1 year late and nobody will see this but Spirited Away is their best film and should be #1 on that essentials list.
I still like him because I haven't seen anything he's been in since AD.
I was thinking the same and I didn't even know about that green screen thing D:
I think the AV Club got brutally owned
Haha yes. The liner notes, in the physical copy of this album, which I purchased in a store, after going out of my house for that purpose. Fucking hipsters
Whatever you say, overreacting fanboy. Whatever you say.
And it all looked unfunny and shitty. The fact they've shown so little and all of it was lame is not a good sign with 2 days to go.
Let's be honest here for a second: it's going to be terrible. Everything I've seen of the new season looks like shit. The only redeeming feature of this comeback will be that green screen Tobias thing.
"Trope" doesn't mean "exact same story" it means a common theme. The theme here being that of nature defending itself against the destructive forces of civilization and a problematic relationship between protagonists on both sides of the conflict.
This must be the first time "immediately fell in love" and "anime room at a gaming convention" have been uttered together
Spirited Away is brilliant and in its own league but Totoro comes pretty close. The only one I didn't like was Mononoke and that's mostly because it's just another variation on that overused Dance with the Wolves/Avatar/Pocahontas story trope (is there a name for that trope by the way?). From the other comments I need…
Less funny than Little Britain? Now I've heard everything
Pretentious, moi?
The production on this is outstanding. It just sounds really clean with none of that loudness contest compression garbage that infects most new records.
Classic Nugent!
They could probably condense books 4 and 5 to a single episode and no one would complain.
Ah, the "no u" defense. Unfortunately doesn't quite make up for the fact that you watch and enjoy garbage.
