I honestly didn't even connect the hit to Rothstein, so when Owen brought it up I just thought "Ooohhhhhh daaaaaang". Crafty son of a bitch.

Fairly slow episode…While I understand the Harding administration content is going to be important for the repercussions it'll have on Nucky, it's just painfully dull as it plays out. Perhaps just as boring, however, is the Nucky/Billie stuff going on…ugh.

I simply cannot believe this episode attained anything higher than a 'C' rating. Lack of psychological depth, no real character motivation, the narrative lacked verisimilitude…By the end of it, did I *know* any of the characters better? No. I laughed, but I simply did not cry.

The entire framework for '30 Rock' has always been one of pure absurdism. When have the rapid visual gags *ever* fully adhered to the laws of reality? That's kind of what makes the show what it is, man.

I can't believe there are twelve episodes of this show left. What I've always, always admired about '30 Rock' is that, though its had its (low) lows, and its (very high) highs, it's always been one of the most creative, quick, and simply absurd comedies on television since its initial airing. It's always been a show

Yeah, but I believe the main issue is that he's grown into such a central character. It was fine to have that absurdly dumb character on the periphery for the first couple seasons, as a simple-minded shoeshiner who would add some slapstick humour to the mix. But when he serves virtually no purpose to many of the

Very much agreed. I said last season that the show was already running the risk of turning its characters into stereotypes (Andy, who I cannot stand any longer, is already in this territory), and I felt similarly about Ron tonight. Loss of subtlety is why 'The Office' began to take a nosedive around S4/5, and I'm

Nice to see 'Parks and Rec' dipping into lowest common denominator comedy a number of times tonight. I really don't care what anyone thinks: the more Andy there is, the more I groan. It's the same lack of subtlety that made 'The Office' rot around Season 4/5, so I'm hoping tonight's episode wasn't evocative of how the

Feels great to make such a foolishly overgeneralized statement, huh?
