Not clever enough

Yeah, that bothered me too. But the fact that Quark's montage is just terrible things happening at his bar (Rom's ear infection for example) sort of makes up for it.

Weyoun's continuous fascination with what the Breen look like under their suits is one of the most delightful things about an all around delightful character.

So your mention of the Love Boat Enterprise reminds me of the SNL skit of Love Boat: The Next Generation from the episode Patrick Stewart hosted. I loved it as a kid and haven't seen it since. I wonder if it's actually any good.

I think you hit the nail on the head completely on my feelings towards "What You Leave Behind" up to and including your thoughts on the greatness of "All Good Things…"

I didn't mind Vic talking as much as the points in episodes where they gave him 4-5 minutes of episode time to sing an entire song.

Yeah crazy Dukat was kind of ridiculous, but I felt like they got him to that point naturally. For that kind of stuff, I almost wish there was a short 8th season so they didn't have to end the Dominion War and Emissary arcs in the same episode.

This comment will be long, sorry. Skip it if you don't care about my personal opinion on DS9, but I would totally love to start some conversations.

If you have to force yourself to read the books why are you reading them at all?

Nevermind

2 points…
1) C'mon it wasn't as bad as all that. It wins points for the Irish nonsense exchange if nothing else.2)Why has the South Park review been the top review on AV Club all day?

Can't wait to start in on DS9. TNG was a huge part of my childhood, but my dad, who was my big gateway to Star Trek never really watched DS9, so I haven't seen much of it. So Zack's reviews are going to function like real time reviews for me. I'm excited.

When the point of the movie is to deliver awesome set pieces, sure, celebrate that shit. I happen to think Ghost Protocol does a great job at that. Its a big, cheesy action movie. I don't think its an all time classic or anything, but as a way to spend 2 hours, its definitely worthy of the A- it got in the review.

You know, you're absolutely right. All traffic to the AV Club is based on their letter grades. No one comes for the interviews or features. Its all letter grades all the time.
