Can I just say
This is probably my favorite feature on the AV Club now. I really, really hope this feature keeps going and doesn't vanish like the first time around.

You really want to spend some time in season one to familiarize yourself with the show and the Pilot and Deep Throat should be where you start, just to see what the mytharc is all about. Neither of them are particularly great episodes, but they're both essential viewing. Ice and Darkness Falls are both pretty great,…
Its The Chinese Restaurant.
"and a solid lesson in humility" and Ayn Rand's philosophy.
Then I will say hold those releases as long as they want because the X-Files streaming was one of the great moments of the year for me.
It may just be some kind of weird nostalgia because my local library always had the Colony/End Game VHS in stock and I always got it but I'd have to say those two episodes are the best the show ever did, at least in the mythology episodes.
I literally laughed for a good minute or two at that picture. And then cringed a little while remembering the scene its from.
Nah its Okona alright. And my god is it terrible.
Because where are the plot complications in that? In the spies incredibly dangerous and thrilling line of work? Please.
Does anyone else wish
That netflix would end up streaming the entire Next Generation. I mean they're already streaming Star Trek 2-4 and First Contact. Every DVD set I've seen of the series is out of my price range but I'd love to be able to follow along.
It was streaming on NPR last week.
I'm only 22 so I have no actual memories of the Cold War and I'm still afraid of nuclear war because of shit like Threads and Testament. Although part me thinks that's because I figure I'd look bad in leather, which seems to be a prerequisite for living in a post-apocalyptic hellscape.
Yeah I was exposed to Threads when some people on here were talking about it in the review for the Red Dawn DVD release. Checked it out and it creeped the hell out of me. Still does sometimes.
Christina Milian and Be Cool
Be Cool is the only movie I've ever walked out of in a movie theater. Something about the way Travolta interacted with Christina Milian just seemed…creepy? forced?
I remember some girls were looking through my CD collection at one point and saw Gorillaz first album and instantly said Gorillaz suck. Fast forward to two years later after Demon Days comes out and these same girls are all about Gorillaz, listening to "Dare" 10 times in a row at 3:30 in the morning at a party,…
That first sucks. It reminds me of the time on 30 Rock when Tracy Jordan tried to cheat at poker by saying "My doctor says I have FOUR hearts." In conclusion, fuck you.
While I thought last night's episode was kinda a groaner, outside of Chevy Chase (who had his best episode of the series in my opinion) and Donald Glover, I do think its a little too soon to say well the show will suck from here on out.
"they need to make him a super douche(it's fun to hate on Jean Ralphio, or Ryan from the Office) or a likeable protagonist. "
You sir, are mistaken. Tom is amazing. Not Ron Swanson levels of amazing I'll give you that, but week in and week out he is good for some of the biggest laughs on the show. I mean just look at that face at the end of the episode. And in terms of "suffering" what about his whole arc with Wendy. I'd say that's pretty…
Hmmm…I've always heard "Cop Rock"
