Misery all the way. Fantastic cast, and one of the very few scripts I've seen, King-based or otherwise, that does such a good job of showing how well a prickly sense of humor fits in with horrific situations. It's as funny as it is disturbing.

Ooooooh good idea. I'm with Arthur on the problem of too many plot plates spinning in the air to do the novel justice, but if they went in a different, ballsy direction like that? Hmm.

I didn't even think of Derry. I figured it was the stretch in Jodie that was being negotiated. Yes, it's pretty much the heart of the story (and for good reason), but if someone really wants to focus on the "save Kennedy" thrust of the plot, I can see them wanting to speed things up in the midsection.
